Ran out of oil — prime & restart
Free with delivery · $99 on its ownAir bled from the line until fuel comes through.
Running a tank dry pulls air and sediment into the line, and the burner won’t restart on its own.
Tick “I’m completely out of oil” when you order and we only show dealers who’ll prime and restart while they’re there — and we tell the driver before they leave the yard.
On its own, without a delivery, it is $99. That is the missed delivery where nobody was home, or a tank with oil in it and air in the line.
The job is done when fuel comes through the bleeder. That is a thing you can watch happen, which is why it is the test rather than “we tried”.
What’s included
- Opening the bleeder port and running the line until fuel comes through instead of air
- Resetting the system and attempting a restart
- A reasonable attempt on site — not open-ended troubleshooting
What it doesn’t include
- Removing, changing or priming the oil filter
- Changing a nozzle, or cleaning or replacing the tank strainer
- Any diagnosis, adjustment, parts or repair of the burner
- Staying on site to troubleshoot a system that will not fire
- Any promise that fuel will come through the bleeder at all
Before you book: This is a basic service with a deliberately narrow scope, and it is not a technician visit or a diagnostic: your driver opens the bleeder and resets the system, and that is the whole of it. We do not guarantee your burner will run, and we do not guarantee fuel will come through the bleeder at all — if the filter, strainer or line is blocked, bleeding it can produce nothing, and finding out why is a technician’s job. A dry run-out often takes the filter, nozzle or strainer with it. If the bleeder and the reset do not get it going, you need a technician — book the $129 diagnostic. Your driver delivers fuel; he is not one.
Free with delivery · $99 on its own is the price for the job. A person gets in touch to arrange a time — nothing is charged when you send it.
